Big Data Engineer with Azure

  • Design and development of modern data pipelines and data streams (Integrations), mainly on the Azure technology stack.

  • Integrations leveraging google cloud platform (GCP) - mainly big query and storage bucket. This is limited to integration to Azure data lake (No analytics on GCP).

  • Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes of pipelines.

  • Analyze business requirements, model, build and optimize analytical solutions for Data products. Create interfaces to serve data to visualizations (for visualization / to visualization tools).

  • Analyze current business practices, processes and procedures and identify future opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure data & analytics services.




  • At least 3 years of experience in Azure.

  • Hands on experience with Databricks – is a must.

  • Experience in data warehouse customer dedicated solutions.

  • Application of data technologies (Query skills, SQL, Relational databases, data models/diagrams).

  • Understanding of Data Mining, Data Modeling, and Data Provisioning (acquisition, transformation and sharing).

  • Programming skills (SQL, Python, Git).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Openness to new technologies and solutions.
