DevOps Engineer

Building and maintaining our Kubernetes clusters (not just creating tools and deploying apps), but the emphasis is on being able to do this in a code-first way: infrastructure as code.
Work closely with other teams to identify pain points and problems around the platform.
Develop new tools and frameworks to improve data platform.
Manage CI/CD.
Participate in code reviews and help teammates with constructive feedback.

2+ years of experience with containerization technology (Kubernetes, Docker).
Experience in cloud environment.
Linux experience: troubleshooting, Bash/Python/Perl scripting, familiarity with multiple distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL).
Experience developing automation for CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in Linux packaging and build tools.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Desire to learn and participate in coaching junior members of the team.

Nice to have:
Knowledge of GCP.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Experience in developing applications, automation or tools, preferably in Golang/Node.js would be an asset.
