Head of DevOps Practice

Tasks:
  • Building and developing a Professional DevOps (teams), capabilities and client offerings to meet current and new unmet demand from customers and market 

  • Definition and creation of DevOps capabilities and offerings following industry best practices and clients’ needs 

  • Advising and working with senior client executives in solving DevOps and business problems from strategy to execution (together with Delivery) 

  • Lead teams that guide clients on their technology-powered business transformation journey 

  • Responsible for the practice’s strategy and business results 

  • Cooperation with Account and Delivery teams to create repeatable methodologies and tools for effectively deliver services and engagements to customers 

  • Ensure knowledge and skills capacity enablement towards Delivery (From a DevOps perspective) 

  • Company knowledge owner regarding DevOps 

  • Global scope 

  • Keep the practice at the forefront of DevOps (by interacting with the ecosystem, attending conferences, getting certifications, interactions with external advisors, reading articles…) 

  • Create “thought leadership” collaterals (white papers, Social Media posts, Webinars…) related to the practice 

  • Engage with Sales and Marketing to get the full support for commercial enablement through targeted initiatives. 


 

Requirements: 
  • Confirmed expert level in ITIL (v3 is a must, V4 is nice to have) 

  • Extensive experience in managed services delivery (10-15 years)  

  • Experience in managerial positions (5+ years) 

  • Proven track record of improvements, publication, community management in the Operations area 

  • Experience in working with/for Fortune 500 clients 

  • Holds certificates on at least one foundation level about DevcOps and SRE 

  • Additional experience in sales, vendor management, working on the client side will be an advantage. 

  • Knowledge and experience with SAFE methodology, 

  • Knowledge and experience with automation and CICD practices  

  • Additional certification in SCRUM, PMP, SIAM, COBIT will be an advantage.
