Growth through diversity, equity, and inclusion. As an ethical business, we do what is right — including ensuring equal opportunities and fostering a safe, respectful workplace for each of us. We believe diversity fuels both personal and business growth. We're committed to building an inclusive community where all our people thrive regardless of their backgrounds, identities, or other personal characteristics.

Tasks:

  • Conduct advanced LCA modelling to evaluate environmental impacts (carbon, water, energy, waste) across full product life cycles. Develop comparative analyses of materials, processes, and supply chain alternatives to inform sustainability strategies.

  • Design and implement methodologies for Life Cycle Costing (LCC), Social LCA (SLCA), and Full Cost Accounting (FCA) to quantify economic and social impacts alongside environmental metrics.

  • Ensure strict adherence to ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, EN 15978, and EU Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) standards during model development and reporting.

  • Lead critical reviews of LCA studies and validate third-party assessments for methodological accuracy.

  • Build complex LCA models in SimaPro Craft and contribute to the development of standardized libraries/templates for the Synergy platform. Optimize workflows for data input, impact allocation, and scenario testing.

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges in database integration and model interoperability across software tools (e.g., GaBi, openLCA).

  • Partner with R&D, supply chain, and product teams to integrate LCA insights into eco-design, circular economy initiatives, and decarbonization roadmaps.

  • Deliver actionable recommendations for reducing Scope 3 emissions, improving material efficiency, and achieving certifications (e.g., EPDs, Cradle-to-Cradle).

What We're Looking For:

  • Master’s/PhD in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Ecology, Chemical Engineering, or related field with thesis/applied work in LCA.

  • Around 5–7+ years in conducting ISO-compliant LCAs for manufacturing, energy, or consumer goods sectors.

  • Proven track record in SimaPro (Craft and Synergy), including model customization, library development, and uncertainty analysis.

  • Expertise in at least two additional methodologies: LCC, SLCA, FCA, or TEA (Techno-Economic Analysis).

  • Advanced proficiency in Python/R for automating LCA workflows and parsing large datasets.

  • Fluency in interpreting Ecoinvent, GaBi, and industry-specific databases.

  • Deep familiarity with ISO 14025 (EPDs), GHG Protocol, and Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) criteria.

  • English at least B2.

  • LCA Certified Professional (LCA-CP), LEED AP, or equivalent credentials is a plus.

  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals or industry conferences on LCA innovation is a plus.

Missing one or two of these qualifications? We still want to hear from you! If you bring a positive mindset, we'll provide an environment where you feel valued and empowered to learn and grow.
