Bid Manager

The Bid Manager liaises with colleagues from numerous disciplines to lead the proposal framework and gather inputs from the broader team, ensuring quality collateral is delivered accurately and timely.

 

Tasks: 
  • Working with sales and delivery to quickly understand needs and scoping required support in producing commercial proposals, RFP or tender responses. 

  • Generating timelines and bid milestones from initial review of documentation through response development, draft preparation and management sign off. 

  • Coordinating all day-to-day aspects of bid initiatives and maintaining appropriate reporting and visibility. 

  • Composing bid teams where needed and leading them to deliver according to customer deadlines. 

  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serving as the focal point for all bid related queries and communication.

Requirements:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience (min 5 years) 

  • Experience in a submissions or marketing role within technology/data domain 

  • Strong affinity with sales processes, commercial attitude; 

  • Process-oriented and analytical; 

  • Strong influencing and project management skills; 

  • High attention to detail, grammar and punctuation
