BI Tech Lead with Python

Tasks:

• Acting as a technical lead on data visualization projects  

• Designing and implementing complex solutions leveraging Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform and cloud platform  

• Educating junior resources  

• Remaining update-to-date on product improvements/releases and work closely with internal teams to stay current on product developments  

• Participating in the entire solution implementation process – from taking pre-sales activities, analysis, collecting customer requirements to design and development of reports and dashboards  

  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years in IT industry. 

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in creating reports and dashboards in PowerBI tool.  

• Very Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query M, SQL languages.

• Good knowledge of Python, PySpark languages. 

• Knowledge about Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or GCP. 

• Knowledge about data modelling, reports performance tuning, business requirements gathering and translation them to solution. 

• Hands on experiences with different connectivity modes (import, direct, live).

• Knowledge about PBI workspaces maintenance and administration (Gateways, security, etc.). 

• Experience with CI/CD and version controlling. 

• Very good technical knowledge, problem-solving and critical thinking.  

• Ability to translate technical solution advantages into business value for the customers.  

• English language proficiency is a must, both verbal and written. 

• Experiences in delivering e2e Dashboards starting from requirements gathering, understanding business needs, design, develop, testing and maintenance. 

• Aware about newest features in Power BI.

Nice to have: 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform. 

• Knowledge of other BI tools (Looker, Tableau). 

• Good knowledge of cloud platform components. 

• Knowledge about databases (MS SQL, Oracle or similar). 

Experience:  

• Working for international customers and teams.

• Working in agile or agile/waterfall projects.

• Working with stakeholders on different seniority and maturity level.

• Participating in creating E2E BI solutions (requirements, data modeling, reports mockups, dashboards creation, CI/CD, security setup, workspace maintenance) with 100M+ rows datasets.

• Acting as Power BI Leader in projects.
