About BI Reporting:
Focuses on collecting, analyzing, and presenting data in a format that enables organizations to make informed business decisions. This involves extracting relevant data from disparate sources, transforming, and consolidating it into meaningful insights, and presenting these insights through reports and visualizations. The core of the work is around report design and development using a variety of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik. Other important aspects include report performance and usability. In addition to report development, BI Reporting Consultants play an important role in training and upskilling client users to use BI tools to improve data literacy, user adoption and enable self-service BI scenarios.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 + years in IT industry
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in creating reports and dashboards in the PowerBI tool.
- Hands on experience with Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, SQL, Power Apps Good to have, Azure stack – Data lake, Synapse, Databricks, ADF, Communication management, Business Analysis.
Duties:
- Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
- Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Make essential technical and strategic changes to improvise present business intelligence systems.
- Should be able to write extensive DAX for the purpose of designing reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform viz. Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake etc., and experience in implementing data solutions in a cloud environment.
- Expertise in working with various data tools and technologies, such as ETL frameworks, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support.
- In-depth knowledge of data management principles and best practices, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.
- Strong technical skills in data engineering, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Pyspark
