About BI Competency:
Focuses on collecting, analyzing, and presenting data in a format that enables organizations to make informed business decisions. This involves extracting relevant data from disparate sources, transforming, and consolidating it into meaningful insights, and presenting these insights through reports and visualizations. The core of the work is around report design and development using a variety of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik. Other important aspects include report performance and usability. In addition to report development, BI Reporting Consultants play an important role in training and upskilling client users to use BI tools to improve data literacy, user adoption and enable self-service BI scenarios.
Duties
· Should have knowledge of Power Apps - must be able to connect to variety of data sources and able to retrieve records.
· Should be able to update , edit, add and delete records in Powerapps.
· Must be able to create UI/UX of the power app and must be updated with all the latest features.
· Must be able to create collections, variables in powerapps and write Power Fx Formulas for all the procedures.
· Must be able to create excel like grid tables in power apps, also design in such a way that is suitable and demanded by the businesses.
· Must be able to also build power automate flows and integrate Power apps and Power Automate together.
· Should have entire knowledge of Power platform - Envoirnments, variables etc.
· Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence.
· Must be able to construct flows In Power Automate and Integrate with various tools offered by MS teams
· Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
· Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
· Make essential technical and strategic changes to improvise present business intelligence systems
· Should be able to write extensive DAX for the purpose of designing reports and dashboards.
Requirements:
· Atleast 7-10 years experience in BI solutions.
· Mandate Skills: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, Power Query, DAX, Power BI
Service, SQL, Entire Power Platform.
· Proven experience in developing Power Apps solutions, including canvas and model-driven applications.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate,
and Power BI.
· Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure.
· Experience with data integration and connecting Power Apps with external data sources.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Strong communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical
teams.
