Tasks:
Core Responsibilities of a Lead Backend Developer:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Collaborating with other team members, including front-end developers and project managers, to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Ensure application security and compliance
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions, including databases.
- Collaborate with frontend and UX teams to deliver a seamless application experience
- Mentor and train junior developers
- Stay abreast of the latest backend development technologies and trends
- Implement and maintain DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices
- Document code and application architecture
- Additional Responsibilities that May Be Required:
- Manage a team of backend developers
- Assist with architectural and design decisions
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
- Represent the engineering department in interactions with clients and stakeholders
What We're Looking for:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Python backend development
- Previous experience with Flask/Fast API, Azure/GCP Services (BigQuery)
Independence in:
- Python
- OOPs
- API/Microservices Development
- Flask/FastApi
- SQLModel, PostgreSql, NoSQL
- Azure/GCP
- Docker
- Kubernetes
