What You'll Be Doing:
Technical Leadership & BI Delivery
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to BI team members.
- Coordinate with Back-end and Front-end BI Developers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure seamless implementation of reporting solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to define technical requirements and specifications for reporting solutions.
- Lead the design and architecture of technical solutions for Business Intelligence reporting.
- Review and approve technical designs; ensure adherence to standards, including code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback in line with best development practices.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
- Communicate technical aspects of solutions clearly to stakeholders and customers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging BI technologies, and best practices.
- Mentor team members through technical training, workshops, and documentation.
People Leadership & Development
- Conduct regular 1-on-1s to support growth, resolve challenges, and inspire career progression.
- Co-create personalized development plans and guide consultants toward key milestones.
- Identify and advocate for talents ready for promotion.
- Deliver meaningful performance feedback that strengthens confidence and improvement.
- Serve as a culture ambassador, promoting Lingaro’s core values and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and highly engaged team environment.
- Drive engagement initiatives that build team morale and collaboration.
- Act as a change advocate, helping the team adopt transformation initiatives and AIpowered solutions.
- Cascade organizational updates to ensure team alignment and readiness.
- Serve as the goto person for technical guidance and problemsolving in complex scenarios.
- Provide hands-on support for challenging use cases and help align processes for smoother delivery.
- Review and approve timesheets and timeoff requests.
- Keep organizational charts and CVs updated.
- Maintain accurate skill profiles reflecting evolving capabilities.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skillset – ability to translate technical details to business/non-technical stakeholders
- Extensive experience in designing and building data pipelines (ELT/ETL) for large-scale datasets. Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, or Informatica is advantageous
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or Scala is essential.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with distributed systems and technologies, including Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of data processing techniques such as batch processing, real-time streaming, and data integration. Experience with data analytics tools and frameworks like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or Apache Storm is a plus.
- Experience with Azure Data Services - Databricks and Data Factory
- Experience with Git repository maintenance and DevOps concepts
- Familiarity with building, testing, and deploying process
- Additional certifications in big data technologies or cloud platforms are advantageous.
- Empathy and influence; ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to operational detail.
- Confidence in providing technical support and reviewing code.
