Front-end BI Developer

Tasks:

• Develop, design, and test BI Reports and Dashboards based on user requirements.

• Work with the customer to gather specifications for data and report requirements.

• Effectively translate end-user reporting requirements into functional design documents

• Provide best practices and standards around analytics solution design, development, and delivery

• Improve existing dashboard design to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all data analytics applications

• Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.

• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.

• Make essential technical and strategic changes to improvise present business intelligence systems

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports

• Proficient in making DAX queries on Power BI desktop

• Able to implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in creating reports and dashboards in the Power BI tool

• Good knowledge of SQL, DAX, Power Query M language

• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, Analysis Services, Tabular Models)

• Excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving, and critical thinking

• Ability to translate technical solution advantages into business value for the customers

• English language proficiency is a must, both verbal and written

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, & Power Automate), experience in working with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview, OBIEE, DOMO)
