Tasks
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed and effective test cases covering various scenarios, edge cases, and user workflows.
- Ensure test cases align with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
- Conduct regression testing to validate the stability of new features and updates.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automation frameworks.
- Log, prioritize, and track defects through their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and user expectations.
- Provide feedback on the quality of deliverables and suggest improvements.
- Conduct performance testing to evaluate software performance under different conditions.
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Proficient in JIRA, SAP BW, and Business Intelligence tools
- Strong knowledge with SQL
- Experience in Azure cloud platform
- Familiarity with GCP is a plus
- Preferably experienced with test automation tools and frameworks such as TestLink, Azure DevOps Test Plans, Postman, Selenium, SoapUI etc.
- Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Expertise in performing User Acceptance Testing
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing results and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
