Quality Assurance Engineer

Tasks

Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
Create detailed and effective test cases covering various scenarios, edge cases, and user workflows.
Ensure test cases align with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
Conduct regression testing to validate the stability of new features and updates.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automation frameworks.
Log, prioritize, and track defects through their lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and user expectations.
Provide feedback on the quality of deliverables and suggest improvements.
Conduct performance testing to evaluate software performance under different conditions.
Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Proficient in JIRA, SAP BW, and Business Intelligence tools
Strong knowledge with SQL
Experience in Azure cloud platform
Familiarity with GCP is a plus
Preferably experienced with test automation tools and frameworks such as TestLink, Azure DevOps Test Plans, Postman, Selenium, SoapUI etc.
Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
Expertise in performing User Acceptance Testing
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing results and recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
