This role bridges technical excellence with commercial strategy. The Solutions Sales Lead is responsible for designing, presenting, and selling high-value IT operations offerings, including support services, DevOps, and SRE models. The ideal candidate combines deep operational knowledge with strong sales acumen, capable of crafting compelling value propositions and financial models that resonate with enterprise clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Sales Enablement & Client Engagement- Lead pre-sales activities, including client workshops, proposal development, and solution
presentations - Translate technical capabilities into business value, emphasizing cost reduction, speed of setup,
and proactive incident prevention - Collaborate with account executives and delivery managers to align offerings with client needs
and expectations
2. Offering Development
- Build and evolve service offerings for ITIL-based support, DevOps, and SRE, including transition
models and steady-state operations - Define service components such as L2/L3 support, observability, automation, and continuous improvement practices
3. Financial Modeling
- Prepare pricing strategies and financial models for proposals, incorporating delivery team composition, regional cost structures, and service SLAs
- Support fixed bid and value-based pricing engagements, especially for large-scale RFPs
4. Transition & Delivery Coordination
- Align service transition phases (knowledge transfer, shadowing, reverse shadowing) with pre-sales commitments
- Ensure delivery teams are equipped and accountable post-handover, maintaining service quality and client satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales or pre-sales roles within IT operations or managed services.
- Strong understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and SRE frameworks.
- Ability to build and present financial models and ROI analyses.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with enterprise clients and large-scale RFPs.
- Familiarity with tools like SNOW, Jira, ADO, and observability platforms.
