great place to work certification

Lingaro Philippines received a Great Place to Work® certification, a renowned, independent recognition based on employee feedback about leadership, integrity, camaraderie, trust, empowerment, and other aspects of employee experience, workplace culture, and corporate excellence.

The Great Place to Work® Institute is an international research and management consultancy that have polled over 100 million employees around to world to define what makes a great workplace across business, academic, nonprofit, and government organizations. Through its certification programs, Great Place to Work® recognizes outstanding workplace cultures across different industries and companies worldwide.

Lingaro Philippines’ certification is based on the survey results in which 96% of employees considered Lingaro a great place to work, compared with only 53% of employees at a typical global company according to their 2019 global employee engagement study. The certification process, which is based entirely on employee feedback, evaluates the organization on collaboration, equity, innovation, and leadership, to name a few.

“At Lingaro, our people are what make our culture and our business great,” said Eric Magdato, Lingaro Philippines’ country head. “We continuously strive in making Lingaro Philippines a place where integrity and trust form the foundation of our relationships, where people welcome challenges, and where people are proud of what they accomplish. This certification validates our aspirations to not only be a trusted partner for our global partners and customers, but also an ally, mentor, and champion for our people’s growth.”

In the survey, employees at Lingaro Philippines highly regarded the company’s atmosphere, opportunities, rewards and recognition, and management. Here are some of the highlights of the survey:

  • 99% said Lingaro Philippines is a physically safe place to work
  • 98% said they are treated as a full member regardless of their position
  • 98% said they are given the resources and equipment to do the job
  • 97% said that the management is approachable and easy to talk with
  • 97% said they felt welcome when they joined the company
  • 99% said they are treated fairly and with respect regardless of their sexual orientation
  • 98% said they are treated fairly and with respect regardless of their age

The survey results were based on the direct experience of employees in Lingaro Philippines, regardless of who they are or what they do. Within the survey, employees were given an opportunity to give feedback on what they feel the company can do to further improve.

The certification comes at a propitious time as Lingaro continues to expand its presence in Asia and Europe. The certification also solidifies Lingaro’s commitment to foster a working environment where its people thrive and successfully deliver on the potential and promise of human creativity and technology.
“We’re proud that Lingaro is making a positive impact to our Filipino Lingarians who continue to break barriers and become winners in their own fields. This certification acknowledges Lingaro’s people-first and values-driven culture that bring inventive minds together to make a difference,” Magdato added.
