Lingaro Philippines once again earned a Great Place to Work® certification, a distinguished recognition on workplace culture and employee experience. The certification is based on the results of an employee survey that tackled broadly and consistently shared experience of trust, reflection of company values, and effectiveness of leadership.

Lingaro Philippines’ certification is based on survey results where 94% of employees rated Lingaro as a Great Place to Work®, compared with 53% of employees at a typical global company according to the Great Place to Work® 2019 global employee engagement study. The company also received a trust index survey score of 90%, which is an evaluation of overall performance that equally considers the whole aspects of the survey.

The certification process was wholly dependent on people’s feedback on various aspects of employee experience, including collaboration, equity, innovation, and leadership. The employees gave high remarks about the company’s work environment, diversity and inclusion, and people management.

This prestigious certification recognizes our commitment towards building a workplace that fosters a culture of respect, trust, and transparency, one that truly reflects our culture and values. For over nine years in the Philippines, our unique company culture has been foundational to our high performance, business resiliency, and continuous growth,” said Eric Magdato, Lingaro Philippines’ country head.

The survey, which was conducted from November 26 to December 10, also gave employees the opportunity to share their thoughts on what the company could do to improve. Here are some of the survey’s highlights:

  • 98% of respondents said that Lingaro is a physically safe place to work.

  • 97% said that they are treated fairly regardless of their gender.

  • 97% said that they are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation.

  • 96% said that they are treated fairly regardless of their race.

  • 95% said that they are treated fairly regardless of their age.

  • 94% said that they are offered training or development to further themselves professionally.

  • 94% said that the management trusts their people to do a good job without watching over their shoulders.

  • 94% said that the management is approachable, easy to talk with, honest, and ethical in its business practices.

The Great Place to Work® certification is an industry-recognized standard for assessing job satisfaction, employee experience, and leadership behaviors. Every year, more than 10,000 businesses from 60 different countries apply for the certification. The Great Place to Work® Institute conducts the world’s largest study of workplace excellence, surveying over 100 million employees around the globe.

“This distinction also gives our clients confidence that they have the best, brightest, and most satisfied talents supporting them. After all, Lingaro is not just after providing the best experience for our clients. We also want the best possible experience for our people as they grow their careers with the company.” Magdato added.
