    From SQL to Azure. Upskilling Program by Lingaro

    Are you already a database master? Join Lingaro and become an Azure Star! This August we’re running an Azure upskilling program for SQL developers who decide to join us.

    What do we offer?

    • A full-time job at Lingaro from the first day of joining the program.

    • A 4-week Azure upskilling program 😊 You will be part of a group up to 15 participants.

    • Upon completion you will be ready to pass the Microsoft Azure DP203 certificate exam with us.

    Here are the key Azure skills you will gain during your first 4 weeks as a Lingarian:

    Design and Implement Data Storage

    • Design a data storage structure

    • Design a partition strategy

    • Design the serving layer

    • Implement physical data storage structures

    • Implement logical data structures

    • Implement the serving layer


    Design and Develop Data Processing

    • Ingest and transform data

    • Design and develop a batch processing solution

    • Design and develop a stream processing solution

    • Manage batches and pipelines


    Design and Implement Data Security

    • Design security for data policies and standards

    • Implement data security


    Monitor and Optimize Data Storage and Data Processing

    • Monitor data storage and data processing

    • Optimize and troubleshoot data storage and data processing

     

    Where and when:

    • Where: The program will be conducted entirely online. You can participate – and continue working afterwards – from anywhere in Poland.

    • When: The program starts at the beginning of August 2021. Recruitment will continue until the end of June 2021.

     

    What you’ll need:

    • A willingness to learn and work with Azure

    • At least 2 years of SQL development experience

    • Experience developing ETL and data warehouse solutions

    • Excellent knowledge of relational databases

    • Ambition to work on innovative data solutions for global customers

    • Confidence speaking English! B2-level proficiency is a must

    • An analytical, logical mindset

    Piotr Tybulewicz – Cloud Architect
    Hi, my name is Piotr and I have over 16 years of experience in IT. I am considered an SQL Server expert, especially in database design, query performance, and BI. I have worked with all versions of SQL Server — from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2017 — and have multiple Microsoft certificates confirming my skills. I have participated in a wide variety of BI projects and have hands-on experience implementing all BI lifecycle phases. I recently shifted my professional focus to Azure, and I’m living proof that an on-premise SQL Server skillset can carry over perfectly to Azure. Now it is time for you to take this journey, and I’ll be your guide!

    As Lingaro’s Microsoft Cloud Competency Champion, I lead weekly Azure training sessions for Lingarians. I am a Certified Microsoft Trainer and Azure MVP who regularly presents at tech conferences, leads workshops, and mentors hackathons. Currently, one of my main responsibilities at work is leading development of a major data lake and business intelligence reporting solution integrated with on-premises architecture.
