Tasks:

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI for our internal business needs. Ensure these reports are high performing and user-friendly. 

  • Integrate data from various sources into Power BI to create a seamless flow of information. This includes preparing, importing, cleaning, transforming, validating, and modeling data. 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.  

  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to promote data-driven decision-making. 

  • Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations. Manage user access and security settings within Power BI. 

  • Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization. Address any issues related to performance and scalability. 

  • Provide training and support to business users on Power BI usage. Develop manuals, user guides, etc. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and features in Power BI and related technologies.  

 

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with a significant focus on Power BI development. 

  • Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Strong understanding of SQL and experience with databases (SQL Server). Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. 

  • English language proficiency is a must, both verbal and written.
