The Bid Manager is responsible for creating and overseeing commercial bids – detailed and persuasive proposals – on behalf of one or more of our Business Units. This role works closely with our account teams and senior leaders focused on the management and production of commercial offers, presentations, and submissions.

 
Tasks:

The Bid Manager liaises with colleagues from numerous disciplines to lead the proposal framework and gather inputs from the broader team, ensuring quality collateral is delivered accurately and timely.

 

  • Work with sales and delivery to quickly understand the needs and scoping required support in producing commercial proposals, RFP, or tender responses.
  • Generate timelines and bid milestones from the initial review of documentation through response development, draft preparation, and management sign-off.
  • Coordinate all day-to-day aspects of bid initiatives and maintain appropriate reporting and visibility.
  • Compose bid teams where needed and lead them to deliver according to customer deadlines.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serve as the focal point for all bid-related queries and communication.
Requirements:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience (min 5 years)
  • Experience in a submissions or marketing role within the technology/data domain
  • Strong affinity with sales processes, and commercial attitude;
  • Process-oriented and analytical;
  • Strong influencing and project management skills;
  • High attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation
  • Good command of English – both spoken and written skills on at least B2 level
