Data Engineer with GCP

Act as a Data Engineer for the Google Cloud Platform projects: scalable and re-usable, self-service frameworks for data ingestion implementation of warehouses, data lakes, data marts and data processing pipeline solutions for new and existing clients.
Build and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data architectures for analytics and reporting.
Implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of the data.
Maintain and update data documentation and data dictionaries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

4+ years of professional experience in the Data & Analytics area.
2+ years of experience in GCP.
Proven experience with GCP cloud services (like: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, Dataflow).
Proven experience with GIT.
Great knowledge and skills of SQL and at least general knowledge one of following programming languages: Java, Python.
Knowledge of the DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse design principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Very good communication, verbal and written in English.
Comfortable with ambiguity.

Nice to have:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Experience with data frameworks like dbt, with ETL tools like Talend and with data movement platforms like Fivetran would be a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
Proven experience in Agile methodologies.
Capable of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative, cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.
