We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS as well as proficiency in modern data transformation tools like dbt and Databrick to join our team. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure data solutions in the cloud. You will play a critical role in shaping our cloud data strategy, ensuring that our data infrastructure meets the needs of our organization and supports our business objectives. 

As part of our team you’ll be working with our global strategic customers delivering high-quality solutions in broad Data & Analytics. 

 

 

Tasks:

 

  • Cloud Data Strategy: Develop and execute a cloud data strategy aligned with organizational goals. 

  • Data Architecture: Design robust data architectures in Microsoft Azure and AWS. 

  • Data Integration: Lead data integration efforts, including ETL processes, to ensure seamless data flow. 

  • Data Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and compliance standards in cloud environments. 

  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data solutions for cost-efficiency. 

  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance and quality standards. 

  • Cloud Services Utilization: Leverage Azure and AWS services, as well as tools like dbt and Databricks, for efficient data pipelines and analytics solutions. 

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide data solutions. 

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and solutions. 

  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members in cloud data architecture best practices. 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • 10+ years of professional experience in the Data & Analytics area 

  • 2+ years of experience in the Architect or Senior Consultant role with a strong focus on AWS data solutions. 

  • Good understanding of business processes and the ability to drive automation through effective management. 

  • Advanced or expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering, and integration. 

  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments. 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. 

  • Proven Cloud Data Architect experience with a focus on Azure, AWS, dbt, and Databricks. 

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud data services, data warehousing, big data technologies, and data lakes. 

  • Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes. 

  • Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance standards. 

  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Relevant certifications in Azure and AWS (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) a plus. 

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous. 

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to apply DevOps and DataOps principles to data pipelines. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Very good command of English language (written and verbal) - C1 level.
