Senior Test Automation Engineer

Design, implement and maintain robust test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable testing. Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for test automation.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using scripting languages such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Implement modular and reusable code for automated tests.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline. Ensure tests run seamlessly.
Work with QA engineers, developers, and POs to plan and prioritize testing efforts. Define and communicate automation scope, objectives, and strategies.
Maintain and update automated test scripts to reflect changes in software requirements and features.
Ensure that automated tests are designed to run on different browsers and platforms. Identify and address compatibility issues.
Log and report defects identified through automated testing. Work with development teams to facilitate defect resolution.
Collaborate with performance testing teams to integrate and execute performance and load tests.
Create clear documentation for automated test scripts, frameworks, and processes.

Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Travis CI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing results and recommendations.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
